Role Overview

As Operations Manager at the Shangri-La Toronto, you will oversee floor operations to ensure superior guest satisfaction and consistent service delivery. In this role, you will direct team leadership, manage departmental performance, support staff development, and control operational costs to advance organisational objectives. You will report to the Operations Director or Director, Event Technology, depending on your location's scope.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise floor operations teams to uphold high service standards
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction
• Schedule staff, manage shift coverage, and ensure optimal team deployment
• Monitor operational metrics and inventory levels to manage costs effectively
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster professional growth
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures and brand service guidelines
• Collaborate with departments across the property to support wider business goals
