Supply Chain Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization in their search for a Supply Chain Manager based in Munich. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will own and drive the end-to-end supply chain for hardware products. You'll lead a team while working closely with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Sales, and Finance to ensure operational excellence and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete supply chain including supply planning, production scheduling, logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Lead, develop, and grow the supply chain team, establishing clear priorities and accountability frameworks
• Drive daily execution to ensure materials, production requirements, shipments, and customer orders are delivered accurately and on time
• Serve as primary escalation point for supply disruptions, shortages, production constraints, and other supply chain risks
• Partner with suppliers and logistics partners to improve delivery performance, lead times, reliability, and quality
• Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes, systems, and data management, including ERP optimization
• Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs, using data to identify issues and provide recommendations to leadership
• Develop scalable processes, SOPs, and operating models to support business growth
• Lead cross-functional initiatives including new product introductions, engineering changes, and supplier transitions
• Develop supply chain strategy and resilience plans, including contingency planning and alternative sourcing strategies

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, planning, or operations, ideally in technology, hardware, aerospace, robotics, or manufacturing
• Demonstrated experience owning and improving end-to-end supply chain processes
• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing teams
• Strong understanding of supply planning, procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and fulfillment
• Proven ability to manage risks, disruptions, and escalations in fast-paced environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus) and advanced Excel skills
• Experience defining and tracking operational KPIs
• Strong project management and process improvement skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities across technical, operational, and leadership teams
• Hands-on, pragmatic, and comfortable working autonomously
• Fluent English required; German is a plus
• EU citizenship required
