About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential mobile gaming studio in Paris that is building innovative casual game experiences. Our talent team is seeking a UI/UX Artist to join a small, agile development team focused on rapid prototyping and player-driven iteration.
This is a chance to shape the visual identity and user experience of games that will reach millions of players worldwide. You'll work closely with game designers and product leads, contributing to key decisions from concept through launch.
Responsibilities
- Support art direction in defining and executing the game's visual identity
- Develop and optimize UX flows for new and existing features
- Create and maintain comprehensive UI style guides and reusable component libraries
- Design high-quality 2D assets including menus, HUDs, buttons, icons, and other interface elements
- Ensure optimal performance and visual quality across mobile devices
- Collaborate with game designers and product teams to ensure UI supports gameplay and accessibility
- Iterate quickly based on team feedback and live user data
- Propose creative solutions to boost player engagement and improve user experience
- Handle implementation of UI and assets into Unity
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of UI art experience in mobile games
- Proficiency in Figma and Photoshop
- Comfortable implementing UI and assets in Unity
- Experience building and maintaining UX/UI framework libraries within game projects
- Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate prototyping and asset creation
- Proactive mindset with ability to identify needs, source references, and drive solutions independently
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent UI art, visual polish, readability, and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of layout, composition, color, typography, visual hierarchy, iconography, and readability
- Ability to work independently in a small team and organize your own workflow
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for mobile games
- Nice to have: Experience designing and implementing scalable UI systems in Unity
- Nice to have: Experience creating UI animations, transitions, and motion design for game interfaces
- Nice to have: Experience working with multiple stakeholders and driving alignment on visual direction
