About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization headquartered in London. They're building mobile experiences that power digital transactions for millions of consumers globally. We're seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join their consumer-facing engineering team and help architect the next generation of payment experiences.
This is a hybrid role based in London, requiring three days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build mobile experiences used by millions of consumers worldwide
- Own feature development end-to-end, from discovery through development, monitoring, and maintenance
- Collaborate closely with backend teams to ensure systems align with mobile product evolution
- Champion best practices across testing, monitoring, release strategy, and other technical domains to strengthen product foundations
- Mentor peers, review code, and contribute to the long-term technical vision for mobile development
- Work hand-in-hand with product leaders and the engineering team to craft high-performance, user-friendly experiences at scale
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Skills:
- Solid background in mobile technologies, with experience in at least one of: native iOS, native Android, or React Native
- Proven track record building scalable and highly performant consumer experiences in mobile
- Experience building and maintaining mobile apps or SDKs used by a large, active user base
- Passion for developer experience including clear APIs, comprehensive documentation, and reliability at scale
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience collaborating with product, design, and backend teams
Nice-to-Have:
- Previous experience in payments, fintech, or other security-sensitive domains
- Exposure to PCI compliance, tokenization, or secure data handling
