Machine Learning Engineer: Personalization

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI-powered e-commerce technology client seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their Personalization team. This is a fully remote position open to candidates across the EMEA region.

In this role, you'll design and deliver high-load real-time services that improve the shopping experience for hundreds of millions of users globally. You'll work closely with engineering teams to provide best-in-class personalization across multiple e-commerce platforms and domain verticals.

Responsibilities

• Enhance personalized experiences across different products, domain verticals, and platforms
• Improve business KPIs by validating hypotheses around personalization strategies
• Research and implement different personalization approaches to deliver optimal business outcomes
• Model user interactions to provide superior shopping experiences
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical business partners to develop and update personalization capabilities
• Design and analyze A/B tests to measure impact
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders within and outside the team

What We're Looking For

Technical Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in applied machine learning
• Strong proficiency with Python, SQL, and big data stack for end-to-end ML product development
• Proven experience building, shipping, and maintaining personalization, recommender, or ranking systems in production environments
• Experience with design and analysis of A/B tests
• Experience with major public cloud platforms is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to deliver and communicate business value to stakeholders
