Service Desk Mitarbeiter (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential managed IT services organization seeking a Service Desk professional to join their technical support team in Coburg. In this role, you will go beyond simple ticket routing and password resets to provide meaningful technical analysis and customer support.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Receiving and processing support requests via telephone, email, and ticketing systems
• Supporting customers with technical issues and inquiries across diverse IT environments
• Analyzing and documenting technical incidents and disruptions
• Resolving standard issues within Microsoft environments
• Supporting administration of Microsoft and cloud platforms
• Collaborating with System Engineers on more complex technical challenges
• Working according to defined processes and quality standards

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Completed IT training or comparable practical experience
• Initial professional experience in IT support or service desk roles
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems
• Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or networking
• Enjoyment of analyzing technical problems
• Service-oriented and customer-focused mindset
• Independent and structured working style
• Very good German language skills and good English proficiency

Advantageous experience:

• Background in managed service provider (MSP) environments
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 components (Exchange Online, Teams, Intune)
• Basic familiarity with Windows Server environments
• Exposure to virtualization platforms (Hyper-V or VMware)
• ITIL knowledge or relevant certifications
• Valid driver's license (Class B)
