PR & Communications Manager (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media technology client with operations in Berlin and New York. Our talent team is searching for an experienced PR & Communications Manager to lead both internal and external communications for this innovative organization. You'll shape how a cutting-edge company tells its story across multiple markets and stakeholder groups.

This is a strategic role that combines traditional press relations with modern corporate communications. You'll work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to increase visibility, build media relationships, and ensure consistent messaging across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated PR and communications strategy with focus on external visibility and internal clarity
• Identify, develop and prepare topics relating to technology, products, live formats and partnerships
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editorial teams, media outlets, industry experts and other key stakeholders
• Create and place press releases, statements and background materials; prepare media briefings and interviews
• Support media conversations, events, launches and public appearances by leadership
• Develop and implement internal communications formats for teams across Berlin and New York, including company updates, leadership communications and change management
• Ensure consistent positioning, tone of voice and messaging across all communication channels
• Monitor media coverage and relevant public discourse; identify communication opportunities and potential risks
• Coordinate external agencies, freelancers and communications partners, including brief management and budget oversight
• Measure and evaluate communications impact using relevant KPIs and qualitative insights
• Leverage AI tools for research, topic development, monitoring, personalization and efficient content creation

What We're Looking For

• At least five years of professional experience in PR, Corporate Communications, media relations or comparable communications role
• Proven track record independently designing and implementing external PR and internal corporate communications
• Excellent written and spoken German and English, with polished writing and editorial skills in both languages
• Demonstrated experience building relationships with journalists, editorial teams, media outlets, agencies and stakeholders
• Experience with communications planning, messaging, stakeholder communications and launch support
• Strong ability to make complex technological, business or creative topics accessible to diverse audiences
• Excellent organizational skills, initiative, confident manner and strong sense for sensitive topics and communication risks
• Practical use of AI and communications tools with specific examples of how you've improved quality, speed or reach
• Strong interest in sports, media, entertainment, technology and immersive experiences
