About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media agency in their search for an Associate Director, Activation and Delivery based in Manchester. Our client is seeking an experienced paid social professional who can combine hands-on platform expertise with team leadership and client relationship management. This role offers the opportunity to drive campaign success across major social advertising platforms while developing a team of specialists.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day execution and optimization of paid social campaigns across assigned client accounts
• Manage campaign delivery across Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Pinterest Ads Manager
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of junior paid social specialists, ensuring performance standards and fostering professional growth
• Serve as primary point of contact and trusted advisor for client stakeholders
• Translate client business objectives into effective campaign strategies and oversee successful execution
• Manage campaign budgets and identify optimization opportunities to maximize ROI
• Interpret complex campaign data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights
• Prepare and present comprehensive performance reports and strategic recommendations
• Develop and maintain relationships with platform suppliers and internal/external stakeholders
• Lead client calls and presentations with confidence and clarity
• Manage multiple client projects concurrently while maintaining quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in paid social media advertising
• In-depth proficiency with Meta Ads Manager (essential); experience with TikTok Ads Manager and Pinterest Ads Manager highly desired
• Proven track record of successfully overseeing and mentoring junior team members
• Demonstrable ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at senior levels
• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of how paid social contributes to business objectives
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present to diverse audiences
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Experience contributing to new business pitches and client growth initiatives preferred
• Relevant industry certifications such as Meta Blueprint preferred
• Must have the right to work in the UK
