Fundraising & Partnerships Manager*in (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential nonprofit organization based in Berlin that supports youth mental health initiatives. They need a Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to secure and diversify their funding streams.

In this role, you will:

• Research relevant grant programs, funding opportunities, and potential partners across Germany's funding landscape
• Develop and write compelling grant applications and funding proposals
• Prepare required reports for funding partners, demonstrating impact and outcomes
• Manage ongoing applications, deadlines, and stakeholder requirements with strong attention to detail
• Proactively identify new financing opportunities and partnership channels
• Serve as the primary contact for regional teams on financing questions and support local grant applications
• Collaborate with impact measurement and communications teams to prepare annual reports and translate data for funders
• Build processes, templates, and resources that make fundraising work more efficient across the organization
• Develop structures that facilitate smooth collaboration between fundraising and program delivery teams

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks someone with practical experience or exposure to fundraising, grant writing, project financing, or comparable work. While you don't need to be a fundraising expert, you should have:

• Familiarity with Germany's funding landscape and understanding of what makes strong grant applications and reports
• Ability to quickly learn new topics and take ownership of your responsibilities
• Self-directed, structured, and reliable working style with ability to manage multiple parallel projects and deadlines
• Strong writing skills with ability to communicate complex content clearly and adapt to different audiences
• Proactive approach to building new contacts and uncovering financing opportunities
• Comfort working across teams and communicating confidently with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent German language skills, written and spoken (C2 level required)
• Motivation to contribute to meaningful work in youth mental health

Location: Berlin (hybrid model, flexible between office and home)

Hours: 80% / 32 hours per week

Start date: November 1, 2026

Contract: Initially one-year fixed term
