Werkstudent Finance (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential client in Hamburg who is seeking a working student to support their finance operations team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in commercial and financial processes while contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the processing and follow-up of open items and pending tasks
• Assisting with accounts payable/receivable processing in the finance department and helping to clarify outstanding balances
• Processing complaints and insurance reductions with structured follow-up procedures
• Communicating with customers, insurance providers, and other stakeholders via phone and email
• Documenting processing status and results thoroughly and clearly in internal systems
• Supporting the team with additional administrative and operational tasks in daily business

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently while maintaining clear communication with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Current enrollment at a university or college (required for working student status)
• A careful, structured, and reliable working style
• Initiative in clarifying matters independently and comfort with telephone communication
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple open tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with standard MS Office applications
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
