Senior Full-Stack Developer (Backend Focus)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI technology client based in Munich. They're building the infrastructure layer that powers enterprise content optimization across next-generation search and AI platforms. Backed by leading European venture capital and research institutions, they're in a rapid growth phase and need a senior engineer who can architect scalable systems from the ground up.

This is a hands-on role working directly with the founding team. You'll own backend architecture end-to-end while contributing across the full stack as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs that power high-throughput content workflows
• Architect autonomous systems capable of processing large volumes of data efficiently
• Contribute to frontend development when required to deliver complete features
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using orchestration tools
• Ship rapidly and iterate based on team feedback and client needs

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on expertise with Python or Node.js/TypeScript
• Proven experience deploying applications with Docker and container orchestration platforms
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Low ego, high ownership mindset—you prioritize outcomes over being right
• Very good written and verbal English communication skills (minimum C1 level); German is a plus
• Valid work permit for Germany
