Software Integration Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization in their search for a Software Integration Engineer based in Stuttgart. Our talent team is working directly with this innovative company to find candidates who can champion the delivery of complex features spanning software and hardware systems.

In this role, you will deliver full-system features that meet customer requirements, working across multiple disciplines to ensure seamless integration. You'll interact directly with customers at their sites to identify target use-cases and manage projects through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver integrated features that span software and hardware components to meet customer specifications
• Engage directly with customers on-site to identify use-cases and manage integration projects
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, software, mechanical, and electrical teams to develop and deploy systems
• Develop comprehensive understanding of system architecture and component interactions
• Design and establish test rigs for end-to-end testing and validation of system performance
• Test and troubleshoot integration between components to ensure reliability

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in software integration or development
• Understanding of electronic systems and ability to setup and debug them
• Experience developing or testing software applications
• Software development experience in Python or C/C++
• Familiarity with Linux development and Bash scripting

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in the automotive industry with technologies including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Simulink, or AUTOSAR
• Experience interacting with customers to deliver projects that meet their requirements
• Experience developing software for large projects (CI/CD, release process, etc.)
• Familiarity with developing software for embedded systems
• Skills in adjacent areas such as CAD/3D printing or PCB design
