Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) part time | ideal alongside your studies

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential GreenTech organization in Hamburg that is developing breakthrough renewable energy technology. Our talent team is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a part-time role (20-30 hours per week) that can easily be combined with university studies or other commitments.

This is not a standard maintenance position. You will be working hands-on with innovative infrastructure technology that generates clean energy, and you will actively help shape maintenance processes and service structures as the technology scales. Your practical experience will directly influence how technical operations are developed for the future.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of the renewable energy system
• Monitor and maintain hydraulic systems including fluid management
• Diagnose technical issues, resolve faults systematically, and document solutions and root causes
• Develop and continuously refine maintenance schedules, spare parts inventories, and technical service documentation
• Manage on-site spare parts in a structured and reliable manner
• Work independently to ensure reliable technical operation with minimal supervision
• Contribute hands-on insights to help build scalable service processes for emerging technology

What We're Looking For

• Technical qualification in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, energy technology, or comparable technical field
• Practical experience in mechanical maintenance and repair of technical systems or machinery
• Solid understanding of hydraulic systems with ability to independently analyze technical relationships and identify issues
• Availability for 20 to 30 hours per week with flexibility for occasional early morning, evening, or weekend maintenance windows
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
• Calm, solution-oriented approach when troubleshooting technical problems
• Comfort working directly with technical equipment outdoors in an active traffic and logistics environment
• Ability to read technical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and electrical circuit diagrams is a strong advantage
