About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization in the beauty and wellness sector, seeking an experienced E-Commerce Content Manager with expertise in Amazon and marketplace optimization. This position is based in Biberach and focuses on content strategy, product copywriting, and designer briefings.

In this role, you'll develop compelling content concepts for Amazon and other online marketplaces, analyzing products and target audiences to create conversion-focused materials. You'll craft clear briefings that guide graphic designers in creating visually impactful product presentations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze products, ingredients, target audiences, customer needs, and competitive landscape
• Identify key product benefits and relevant purchase arguments
• Develop comprehensive content concepts for marketplace listings
• Plan clear and conversion-driven image structures including product photos, infographics, and lifestyle visuals
• Write compelling headlines, benefits, bullet points, and calls-to-action in natural German
• Create detailed, actionable briefings for graphic designers
• Describe visual concepts including scenes, compositions, moods, and visual priorities
• Select appropriate references for visual language, layout, and product staging
• Develop A+ Content, brand stories, and other sales-enhancing materials
• Adapt international product information for the German market—not literal translation
• Review product claims and clearly distinguish between confirmed properties and unsubstantiated statements
• Ensure compliance by avoiding impermissible medical promises and unverifiable efficacy claims
• Quality-check designer-created product images for content accuracy, clarity, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency
• Continuously optimize existing content for comprehensibility, brand impact, and conversion rate
• Strategically deploy AI tools for research, concept development, copywriting, and visual ideation
• Collaborate closely with graphic design, product management, and leadership

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Professional experience in e-commerce, content management, online marketing, product marketing, or comparable role
• Excellent German language skills at C1 level minimum, ideally native-level proficiency
• Strong instinct for natural, precise, and sales-oriented German language
• Experience with Amazon product detail pages, product imagery, A+ Content, or other marketplace content
• Ability to analyze products from the customer perspective and translate features into clear purchase benefits
• Understanding of customer journey, purchase motivations, visual communication, and conversion optimization
• Ability to structure extensive product information and distill it to essentials
• Experience creating clear, detailed designer briefings
• Good understanding of layout, visual hierarchy, typography, and visual product communication
• Confident use of AI tools like ChatGPT and willingness to develop new AI-supported workflows
• Independent, reliable, and highly structured working style
• High quality standards and strong attention to detail
• Ability to articulate feedback clearly and constructively evaluate design drafts

Preferred:

• Experience with products in cosmetics, beauty, skincare, haircare, or dietary supplements
• Knowledge of German regulatory requirements for cosmetic and health-related advertising claims
• Experience with Amazon SEO, keyword research, and Seller Central
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or comparable design programs
• Experience with image generation and other generative AI tools
• Good English skills for working with international product information
