About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential energy technology client in Essen seeking a working student to support their Legal, Finance, Controlling, and Treasury functions. This role offers comprehensive exposure to the economic and legal operations of a modern organization operating in the mobility sector.
You will work across four dynamic departments, gaining practical experience while contributing to real business challenges. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to apply theoretical knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Legal: Support contract review and administration, legal research, compliance and data protection matters
- Finance, Accounting & Taxation: Assist with bookkeeping, tax preparation tasks, master data maintenance, and account reconciliation
- Controlling: Participate in reporting activities, KPI analysis, optimization projects, and management presentations
- Treasury: Support liquidity planning, payment processing, and projects in cash and risk management
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Business Administration, Finance, Taxation, Law, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, Energy Economics, or similar fields)
- Excellent German and good English language skills
- Prior experience with process automation and AI in business processes (e.g., use of Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, n8n/Zapier/Make.com, Copilot Studio) and/or Legal Tech & Operations
- Interest in gaining cross-functional experience across legal and financial disciplines
