Supply Chain Manager North (W/M/X) – Permanent

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead operations across Northern Europe. This is a permanent position based in Düsseldorf, offering the opportunity to drive end-to-end supply chain excellence across multiple markets including Germany, Benelux, and the UK.

Our client works with thousands of partner brands and operates at significant scale across European markets. This role will be critical in optimizing sourcing, logistics, supplier management, and distribution activities while collaborating with global operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the regional supply chain team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment across multiple countries
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, negotiating favorable commercial terms
• Lead negotiations and integrations with brands and third-party logistics providers, securing optimal operational agreements
• Ensure efficient end-to-end supply chain operations from supplier coordination to final delivery, maintaining high service levels
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce supply chain costs without compromising quality
• Define, monitor, and analyze supply chain KPIs to track performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop mitigation plans to ensure business continuity
• Collaborate with transportation teams, warehouses, and external dropshippers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
• 10+ years of proven experience in supply chain management, operations, or production with strong execution capabilities
• Strong leadership experience managing operational teams
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with proven experience negotiating with brands and third-party providers
• Demonstrated ability to manage both internal and external negotiations, building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• Solid knowledge of dropshipping operations and models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
• Knowledge of logistics operations, distribution networks, and supply chain regulations
• Fluency in English is required; fluency in French, Dutch, or German is a strong advantage

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in e-commerce or retail supply chain environments
• Experience working in international or matrix organizations
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and AI automation
