Senior Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential enterprise software organization in their search for a Senior Solution Engineer to support pre-sales activities across the DACH region. This remote position is based in Germany and offers the opportunity to work with a cutting-edge platform that serves major global enterprises.

As a pre-sales technical specialist, you'll serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospects, demonstrating how enterprise procurement solutions deliver measurable value. You'll partner closely with account executives to drive deals forward, conducting discovery sessions, building custom demonstrations, and leading proof-of-concept engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery conversations with prospective customers to uncover pain points and business requirements
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to customer needs and use cases
• Build custom demo environments that showcase solutions addressing specific customer challenges
• Respond to RFx processes and IT security questionnaires with technical accuracy and thoroughness
• Scope and lead proof-of-concept engagements, partnering with post-sales teams for delivery
• Collaborate with sales teams to achieve revenue objectives and close complex deals
• Ensure seamless handoffs to implementation teams, communicating customer requirements and expectations
• Gather and communicate customer feedback to influence product development priorities
• Present confidently to technical and executive audiences across various organizational levels

What We're Looking For

• Proven solution selling skills with ability to articulate software value in terms of business outcomes
• Strong discovery capabilities to guide focused conversations that uncover customer needs
• Excellent presentation skills and composure when engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to establish trust and influence key decision makers
• Experience working with REST APIs for enterprise integrations, particularly with ERP, ticketing, or contract management systems
• Self-motivated approach with ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Willingness and availability to travel for customer meetings and on-site engagements
• Fluency in German (C1/C2 level or native proficiency) is required for this role
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Oracle, Ariba, Workday, or procurement automation tools is highly valued
• Background in integration or development work, especially with REST APIs and middleware, is a plus
• Industry experience in procure-to-pay, fintech, or accounts payable automation is beneficial
