Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AI technology organization in their search for a Manager, Applied AI Architects based in London, UK. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

In this leadership position, you will build and manage a team of senior technical architects who serve as strategic advisors to enterprise customers across Europe. Your team will guide organizations from initial AI solution discovery through production deployment, ensuring technical strategies align with business objectives and deliver measurable impact. You will act as both a technical executive sponsor for critical engagements and a people leader developing high-performing technical talent.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, and develop a team of Applied AI Architects, fostering technical excellence, accountability, and customer-focused delivery
• Define and refine the operating model for AI architecture services across the European region, aligning organizational priorities with strategic customer needs
• Partner with sales leadership to prioritize accounts, allocate technical resources, and establish technical strategies for high-value engagements
• Ensure your team owns technical account plans, adoption roadmaps, production milestones, and expansion opportunities for their customer portfolios
• Lead complex customer engagements connecting executive vision with practical use-case qualification, solution evaluation, and paths to production
• Coach team members on enterprise AI architectures including models, applications, data integration, security, privacy, governance, and deployment
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders and senior technology leaders, serving as an executive technical sponsor when needed
• Coordinate across deployment, product, engineering, security, legal, and partner teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences
• Maintain rigorous portfolio health metrics including production readiness, adoption, usage, risks, and measurable customer impact
• Translate field insights into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams while developing reusable architecture guidance

What We're Looking For

• Deep technical expertise in modern AI systems, frontier models, agentic applications, cloud architecture, APIs, data integration, identity, security, and enterprise deployment
• 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture, technical account management, AI deployment, or technical consulting with large enterprises
• 4+ years of people management experience hiring, coaching, and developing customer-facing technical teams
• Proven track record guiding enterprise organizations from technical discovery through production adoption and measurable business outcomes
• Outstanding executive communication skills with the ability to engage CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, boards, and engineering teams effectively
• Strong portfolio management capabilities including resource allocation, regional strategy development, and hands-on support for critical engagements
• Sound architectural judgment knowing when to engage personally, coach team members, involve specialists, or define clear ownership handoffs
• Experience building partnerships across sales, product, engineering, deployment, security, legal, and partner ecosystems
• Comfort working across European markets from London, adapting approaches to different industries, cultures, and regulatory contexts
