About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading global cryptocurrency exchange platform in their search for a Social Media Lead to drive their professional trading product's social presence. Our client serves millions of traders worldwide and is now looking to elevate their social channels to match the quality of their platform.

This role is based in the United Kingdom and offers the chance to shape how a major crypto trading community engages online. You'll be responsible for creating scroll-stopping content, managing real-time engagement, and building a social presence that resonates with serious traders.

Responsibilities

• Create platform-native content for X, Telegram, and other channels that maximizes reach and engagement for a professional trading audience
• Monitor crypto Twitter, FinTwit, and broader social trends to spot reactive moments and craft timely, on-brand responses
• Actively engage with the trading community through replies, quotes, polls, memes, and meaningful conversation
• Build and maintain an always-on content calendar, managing the full workflow from creation through approvals, scheduling, publishing, and performance monitoring
• Translate product launches and ecosystem updates into clear, compelling social narratives
• Track growth metrics and performance data, iterating based on insights and experiments
• Partner with legal and communications teams to ensure compliant, accurate messaging across regions and platforms

What We're Looking For

• A proven portfolio of social content that broke through—whether on brand accounts or personal channels. We prioritize what you've made over where you've worked
• 3+ years of experience in social media or content roles, ideally within fintech, crypto, or trading environments
• Ability to work at speed under pressure, especially during market-moving moments when approval cycles can't slow you down
• High proficiency with AI tools to multiply your impact and keep pace with demand
• Versatility as a content creator across formats: copy, memes, short-form video, charts, threads. You can ship posts without waiting on a design queue
• Strong editorial judgment—knowing when not to post is as important as knowing when to post
• Experience managing high-paced social channels with strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Creative and detail-oriented mindset, with ability to produce visually appealing content either by briefing designers, using Figma, or being resourceful with tools like CapCut
