HRBP Manager (UK)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that is establishing its presence across Europe. We are seeking an experienced HRBP Manager to serve as a foundational HR leader supporting international expansion efforts, with primary focus on European operations based in London.

This is a unique opportunity to build HR infrastructure from the ground up as our client opens new sites and entities globally. You will be the primary HR contact for expansion locations, working closely with general managers and cross-functional teams to create seamless People experiences across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for European expansion sites and employees
• Support strategic HR planning and actions for global expansion locations
• Prepare employment contracts, handbook revisions, and employee communications tailored to local country requirements
• Create, iterate, and own HR policies and procedures for each new site or country
• Ensure legal compliance in HR-related matters across multiple jurisdictions
• Streamline administrative operations including employee records and internal databases across expansion geographies
• Partner with local site leadership and cross-functional departments to build and improve People processes in new markets
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (insurance vendors, EOR/PEO providers) to establish HR operations
• Assist payroll by providing relevant employee information regarding leaves of absence, parental leave, and other matters
• Manage HR investigations and lead Employee Relations actions
• Travel as needed to spend time onsite at new expansion locations

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar role
• Proven experience leading HR function for global or international expansion, including standing up HR operations in new countries or sites
• Ability to build rapport and serve as a trusted partner to site leadership and employees across cultures and geographies
• Experience implementing and enforcing HR policies and processes across multiple jurisdictions
• Experience managing HR investigations and leading Employee Relations actions
• Proficiency in GSuite and HR software programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management capabilities
• Thorough knowledge of relevant legal regulations in the UK and Europe
