Teamleiter IT Finance & Risk (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential client in the financial services sector based in München. They are seeking a Team Leader for IT Finance & Risk to provide both technical and personnel leadership within their IT Delivery function. In this role, you will ensure the stable, secure, and cost-effective delivery of critical business applications while driving continuous improvement in close collaboration with business units.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical and disciplinary leadership for assigned team members, fostering their professional and personal development
• Taking ownership of operations, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of applications and services in the Risk & Finance / SAP domain
• Managing internal and external resources as well as relevant service providers
• Prioritizing and implementing requirements in coordination with business departments and stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with quality, security, compliance, and architecture standards
• Managing planning, budgets, risks, and capacity within the team

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a seasoned IT professional with strong leadership capabilities:

• Several years of professional experience in IT and in leading employees and project teams
• Extensive knowledge of highly regulated business environments and familiarity with SAP and/or risk-relevant business processes
• Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
• High customer and service orientation combined with entrepreneurial thinking
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
