About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential agri-tech startup in Cologne that is developing sustainable solutions for the agricultural sector. Our client is focused on innovative biological processes that transform organic materials into high-value products, supporting regional nutrient cycles and climate-resilient farming practices. They are seeking a working student (Werkstudent:in) to join their small, dynamic engineering team and contribute to the development of their production systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of production equipment, both theoretically and hands-on
• Research and document components and process steps
• Prepare technical documentation and reports
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions
• Assist with prototyping and testing activities

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program (Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field)
• Practical skills or prior vocational training in a technical field is a strong plus
• Ability to work independently with attention to quality and detail
• Interest in sustainable technologies and the agricultural industry
• Team player willing to actively contribute in a startup environment
• Fluency in German required for this role
