Software Developer – Fokus Secure Software Development (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software development organization based in Nuremberg that builds business-critical web and cloud applications with security at the foundation of every solution. Our talent team is seeking a Software Developer with a focus on Secure Software Development to join collaborative project teams while building internal security expertise across the organization.

In this role, you'll actively develop using Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Angular while taking a leading position in knowledge sharing around modern security practices. You'll work with established teams, contribute to secure coding standards, and help shape the future of software security—including emerging areas like secure AI system development and LLM protection.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, secure software solutions in cloud and web environments using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
• Write clean, maintainable code with automated tests, participate in code reviews, and practice pair programming
• Serve as the security expert within your team, supporting colleagues on secure coding practices and security analysis
• Lead internal technical sessions, raise awareness of current security threats, and establish best practices across development teams
• Stay current with modern trends in application security, DevSecOps, and the secure, privacy-compliant deployment of AI systems
• Collaborate directly with clients while maintaining strong alignment with internal teams

What We're Looking For

• Several years of practical software development experience with Java and a solid understanding of modern web architectures
• Genuine passion for secure coding and DevSecOps methodologies
• Enthusiasm for knowledge sharing, mentoring colleagues on security topics, and collaborative learning
• Experience with Spring Boot, Angular, Python, relational databases, Docker, cloud technologies, and generative AI is beneficial
• Strong German language skills (minimum B2 level) and good English for effective team and client communication
• Ability to work on-site or hybrid in Nuremberg
