Business Systems Analyst – Salesforce, Gainsight Admin

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing commerce technology company seeking a Business Systems Analyst to serve as the technical owner of their customer-facing operations platforms. In this role, you will administer Salesforce, Gainsight, and Pendo for a services organization supporting enterprise brands and retailers. You will maintain cross-platform integrations, implement AI-driven automation, and enable Client Success, Support, Onboarding, and Professional Services teams to maximize the value of their technology stack.

This is a remote position based in the USA with up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

Salesforce Administration:

• Administer Salesforce for services teams, including configuration, automation, permissions, and deployments
• Partner with central IT teams to coordinate releases and enterprise platform changes
• Configure AI capabilities including case summaries, classification, and response drafting
• Translate business requirements into scalable platform solutions

Gainsight Administration:

• Manage health scoring, automation, programs, dashboards, and reporting
• Maintain Salesforce-Gainsight integrations, monitoring APIs and data synchronization
• Administer customer health intelligence integrations and ensure data accuracy
• Build scalable automations aligned with the established roadmap

Pendo Administration:

• Configure guides, permissions, and feature enablement
• Analyze adoption data and provide recommendations to improve product usage and operational effectiveness
• Enable self-service capabilities while maximizing platform utilization

Cross-Platform Optimization:

• Maintain reliable integrations and data consistency across all supported platforms
• Troubleshoot system, integration, and data quality issues
• Balance platform requests through established prioritization processes
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI, automation, and repeatable processes
• Stay current on platform certifications and emerging capabilities

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 2+ years administering Salesforce and Gainsight
• Experience configuring enterprise applications, automation, permissions, integrations, and data management
• Experience supporting APIs, data synchronization, and cross-platform system dependencies
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical and data quality issues
• Ability to manage competing priorities while supporting multiple stakeholder groups
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, etc.) to improve productivity
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of enterprise systems administration experience
• Administrator certification in Salesforce, Gainsight, Pendo, or comparable platforms
• Experience with Salesforce-Gainsight integrations, customer health scoring, and Journey Orchestrator
• Experience implementing Salesforce AI capabilities or comparable AI technologies
• Experience supporting Client Success, Support, Onboarding, or Services Operations in a SaaS environment
• Strong communication, organization, and process improvement skills
