Full-Stack Software Engineer (m/f/d) in Berlin or Konstanz

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential data analytics organization in their search for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their product development team in Berlin. Our client is building cutting-edge platforms that enable data professionals worldwide to solve complex analytical challenges through visual workflow frameworks.

As part of the user experience engineering team, you'll work across the full technology stack—contributing to both backend business logic in Java and modern frontend interfaces in Vue. This is a chance to shape the daily experience of thousands of users while collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers across a diverse, global team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end features that deliver tangible value to data workflow users
• Design and implement robust backend business logic to ensure reliable application performance
• Partner with product stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive, frictionless user experiences
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining engineering standards
• Uphold code quality through automated testing, peer reviews, and continuous delivery pipelines
• Track and optimize the use of AI agents within development workflows to ensure proper oversight
• Contribute to the architecture of existing software systems and identify opportunities for improvement

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong competence in frontend development with Vue, React, or similar modern frameworks
• Strong competence in backend development using Java and modern Java frameworks
• Demonstrated experience contributing to the architecture of existing software systems
• Experience with AI-assisted software engineering tools; experience with AI agents is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in unfamiliar codebases and navigate technical challenges independently
• Solid understanding of full-stack development principles and practices
• Practical experience with Golang is a plus
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
