Working Student, Data & Analytics (m/f/d)

Our Client

We are representing a confidential analytics software organization based in Berlin. Our client is seeking a Working Student to join their Data & Analytics team and contribute to real business-critical workflows, reports, and data applications used across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support the Data & Analytics team with daily tasks including analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting
• Build and maintain data ingestion workflows and ensure scheduled pipelines run smoothly as data sources evolve
• Create data applications and reports that enable teams across the organization to answer their own questions
• Research and respond to questions from other teams, delivering actionable answers
• Improve existing workflows, data applications, and reports through performance optimization, cleanup, and documentation
• Own tasks end-to-end: ask scoping questions upfront, execute independently, and deliver clear results

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university or Hochschule in Berlin with at least 12 months of study remaining
• Available at least 16 hours per week, with two days per week on-site in the Kreuzberg office
• Working knowledge of data analytics platforms and data science fundamentals
• Solid SQL and database experience
• Strong research skills: ability to find relevant sources, evaluate information, and deliver actionable answers
• Experience drafting data applications and reports with AI support, with ability to explain results
• High degree of independence: can structure your own work, unblock yourself through documentation and research, and know when to ask for help
• Detail-oriented and reliable when working on deliverables others depend on
• Fluent in English
• Bonus: Advanced certifications in analytics platforms, experience with deployment and scheduling tools, Python or JavaScript skills, German language proficiency
