About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech client that is building next-generation financial applications for users across multiple regions. They are seeking a Mobile Application Developer to join their distributed engineering team and build native Android experiences that simplify complex financial journeys for real customers.

This is a remote position for candidates based in Germany. You'll be working with a globally distributed team of over 20 nationalities who are passionate about building products that help people manage their financial lives more effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for financial service applications
• Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and other financial products
• Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex user journeys
• Integrate backend APIs and ensure mobile flows are stable, secure and reliable
• Improve app performance metrics including crash rate, loading states, responsiveness and memory usage
• Use analytics and user behavior data to identify and resolve production issues
• Build AI-assisted mobile experiences that genuinely enhance the user journey

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin
• Strong Android fundamentals with proven experience shipping production applications
• Solid knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow and modern Android architecture patterns
• Strong sense of mobile UX, usability considerations, edge cases and user flow design
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues
• Demonstrated ability to execute quickly with high ownership and attention to product quality
• Portfolio materials such as app links, GitHub repositories, or screenshots of shipped work are highly valued
• Strong English communication skills for working with global teams
• Must be currently based in Germany

Technical environment: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines & Flow, SQL/NoSQL, TensorFlow Lite
