Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential robotics organization based in Germany. They are scaling production deployments of intelligent automation systems and need a Product Manager to drive full lifecycle ownership from roadmap through deployment across dozens of active production sites.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role bridging AI research, engineering, and industrial operations. You will translate field complexity into product requirements, manage technical backlogs, and serve as the strategic voice connecting customers, commercial teams, and R&D.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product roadmap spanning hardware, software, and AI components with timelines from monthly to annual planning cycles
• Define and defend product priorities aligned to commercial objectives and technical constraints
• Collaborate with AI and R&D teams on training data strategy, model evaluation criteria, and deployment thresholds
• Close the feedback loop between field performance data and AI training pipelines
• Spend time on-site at production facilities to capture operator observations and edge cases, converting them into structured requirements
• Define capability specifications, performance SLAs, and integration requirements for customer deliverables
• Manage a customer-driven product backlog, prioritizing by impact, frequency, and strategic fit
• Coordinate work sequencing with engineering leads, unblocking dependencies and maintaining delivery momentum
• Track and report on KPIs including uptime, success rates, intervention rates, and time-to-value metrics
• Contribute the product perspective in pre-sales technical discussions and create product collateral supporting the commercial team

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years working on robotics systems
• Proven track record shipping complex technical products into production environments
• Familiarity with robot software stacks such as ROS2, motion planning, control systems, and perception pipelines
• Ability to engage credibly with AI/ML teams on model evaluation and deployment criteria
• Understanding of hardware-software co-design tradeoffs and their downstream impact
• Strong skills translating field observations and engineering constraints into clear, prioritized requirements
• Experience preparing technical briefs and product requirement documents that engineering teams can execute against
• Basic awareness of EU Machinery Regulation, ISO standards for robotics, and relevant compliance frameworks
• Ability to own the product narrative in customer-facing conversations
• High agency and proactive problem-solving approach
• Comfort navigating conflicting priorities across commercial, engineering, and customer stakeholders
• Track record of surfacing risks early with proposed solutions and mitigation paths

Preferred Experience:

• Background in warehouse automation, mobile robotics, or logistics technology
• Startup experience in environments with evolving scope and ambiguity
• Exposure to warehouse management system integration or fleet management platforms
