About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential maternal and baby care organization with a strong international footprint. We're seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to join their remote team in the United Kingdom. This is a full-time, long-term contract role working on consumer products that support families globally.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative product concepts, sketches, and design proposals for consumer products in the maternal and baby care space
- Create 3D CAD models, prototypes, and high-quality product renderings
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, CMF designers, and manufacturing teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Translate consumer insights and market trends into commercially viable product designs
- Conduct competitor analysis, user research, and design validation activities
- Participate in design reviews and provide creative solutions to product challenges
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility, quality standards, and cost optimization
- Stay current with trends in consumer products, baby care, home appliances, and lifestyle design
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field
- Proven industrial design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complete design process from concept through production
- Experience designing consumer products, baby products, home products, small appliances, or related categories
- Proficiency in CAD and visualization tools such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, KeyShot, or equivalent software
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, tooling, and product development workflows
- Ability to work independently in a remote and international environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
