We are representing a confidential fintech client in their search for a field sales professional in Lille, France. This is a 100% field-based role focused on direct prospecting and building relationships with local merchants across your territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospect directly with merchants in your assigned territory including restaurants, artisans, independent retailers, and local businesses
• Identify client needs and present appropriate payment and business management solutions
• Deliver clear, convincing product demonstrations in the field
• Negotiate and close sales directly with prospects on-site
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract signature
• Develop your territory sustainably through regular, structured prospecting activities
• Track your results and adjust your approach to meet and exceed sales targets

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in cold prospecting, ideally in field sales
• Comfort approaching prospects who are unfamiliar with the solution and generating interest
• Passion for field sales, direct prospecting, and face-to-face client interactions
• Ability to quickly build trust and rapport with diverse business owners
• Strong verbal communication skills with natural energy and persuasiveness
• Resilience in handling objections and maintaining motivation in a demanding environment
• Autonomous, organized, persistent, and results-driven work style
• Enthusiasm for ambitious targets with direct impact on your compensation
• Fluent French required; conversational English for internal communications
• Previous cold prospecting experience is essential for success in this role

Pay

The client offers a transparent compensation structure with a €30,000 annual base salary plus €27,600 target variable compensation (at 100% of objectives), totaling €57,600. The variable component is uncapped—top performers can exceed €100,000 in total annual compensation. Complete commission plan details will be shared during the client's recruitment process.
