Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential client in the food-service sector based in Berlin. They are seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager to ensure critical initiatives move from analysis to execution. In this role, you will:
- Identify operational and commercial improvement opportunities and implement them with cross-functional teams
- Analyze performance data, develop clear recommendations, and translate them into concrete actions
- Take ownership of cross-departmental projects from goal definition through to delivery and measurable results
- Improve processes, structures, and accountabilities to ensure solutions are sustainable
- Coordinate stakeholders, remove blockers, and keep strategic initiatives on track
- Support the launch and development of new products, brands, locations, and markets
- Identify practical opportunities for automation, AI, and new tools and drive their pragmatic adoption
- Help scale the organization efficiently as it grows
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience in a startup, business operations, strategy, consulting, commercial, or comparable environment
- Proven track record of structuring complex topics and independently leading projects through to implementation
- Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking with solid understanding of operational dynamics
- High degree of initiative, ownership mindset, and consistent follow-through
- Ability to coordinate diverse teams and deliver results without formal authority
- Proficiency with data, spreadsheets, dashboards, presentations, and business tools
- Fluent German and professional English required
- Experience in food, delivery, quick-service restaurants, retail, hospitality, or fast-growing startups is helpful but not required
