LCSW Clinical Supervisor

Clinical Supervision Opportunity with a Mental Health Services Provider

Our talent team is representing a confidential behavioral health organization that delivers community-based mental health services across New York State. We are seeking an experienced LCSW Clinical Supervisor to join their team in a remote or hybrid capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional who wants to shape clinical practice, mentor therapists, and maintain a reduced caseload while supporting underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly clinical supervision to assigned therapists and document supervision sessions in a timely manner
• Complete and maintain New York State licensure paperwork for supervisees as applicable
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and facilitate clinical training for staff
• Work with the Clinical Director on administrative tasks, including performance management of assigned therapists when necessary
• Conduct ongoing review of high-risk cases and provide appropriate clinical solutions
• Participate in the monthly Utilization Review process for assigned cases
• Respond to clinical crises and other clinical issues brought forward by supervisees
• Help develop and improve clinical policies and procedures to support program success
• Maintain a reduced caseload of therapy clients; complete all required clinical documentation promptly, including comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes

What We're Looking For

• Must be an independently licensed mental health provider in New York State (LCSW, LCSW-R, PhD, or equivalent)
• Candidates must be licensed in NY or willing to obtain NY credentials prior to start
• Leadership experience in a mental health clinic setting is required
• Strong knowledge of NYS OMH Outpatient Clinic regulations
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations
• Previous experience using computerized appointment scheduling systems and/or electronic Medical Record Systems
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
• This position has direct reports
• Flexible availability including one weekend day and some evenings
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington

Pay
