Operations Analyst (Finance)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology services organization with operations across Latin America and the United States. Our client is seeking an Operations Analyst (Finance) to join their growing operations function and work closely with senior finance leadership.

This is a 100% remote position based in Latin America, offering the opportunity to build finance operations and business intelligence capabilities from the ground up. You'll own critical financial processes while establishing the reporting infrastructure that leadership relies on for decision-making.

Responsibilities

Finance Operations:

• Execute payroll across LATAM and US systems, including contractor payments and reconciliation
• Manage employee expenses, corporate cards, receipts, approvals, and reimbursements
• Support monthly close processes through journal entries, reconciliations, invoice tracking, and accounts receivGet A Job.ai follow-up
• Maintain accurate and reconciled financial data across relevant systems
• Partner with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies until root causes are identified and addressed

Data & Business Insights:

• Build and maintain leadership dashboards covering key business metrics including revenue, pipeline, utilization, and cash flow
• Establish recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for leadership teams
• Define and document business metrics to ensure consistent data interpretation across teams
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
• Monitor data quality across CRM, payroll, and recruiting systems, coordinating resolution of issues

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Skills:

• 3–6 years of experience in finance operations, financial analysis, business operations, or related analytical roles, preferably within growing companies
• Hands-on experience with payroll, expense management, and monthly financial close processes
• Strong analytical skills and advanced spreadsheet proficiency
• Experience working with SQL and business intelligence tools such as Metabase, Looker Studio, or similar platforms
• Proven experience building dashboards, reports, or analyses for leadership audiences
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with financial data
• Familiarity with tools such as Deel, Justworks, HubSpot, Attio, Greenhouse, or comparGet A Job.ai systems
• Ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to manage work independently in evolving environments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting both US and LATAM payroll or finance operations
• Experience in startup, services businesses, or lean operating environments
• Experience establishing reporting processes or analytics capabilities from scratch
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, or budgeting
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar in day-to-day work
