Cybersecurity Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity consultancy seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to join their team in München. In this role, you will:

• Assume overall responsibility for cybersecurity projects, key initiatives, and strategic development activities
• Lead consulting, design, and implementation of cybersecurity solutions with a strategic focus
• Ensure project milestones and objectives are met on time and within scope
• Manage stakeholder communication and facilitate status meetings across teams
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, project leads, and team members
• Assess client cybersecurity posture and advise on security improvements and new service offerings
• Analyze complex processes and systems, particularly in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Design solution concepts and IT security architectures
• Contribute to business development and client acquisition activities
• Conduct IT vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations of security incidents
• Lead transformation initiatives in the cybersecurity domain
• Drive internal development initiatives to strengthen organizational capabilities

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a candidate with:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related field
• 5–8 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, including Zero Trust concepts and technologies
• Experience with Identity & Access Management, Azure AD, Zero Trust frameworks, and security architecture design (preferred)
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and management experience
• Strong understanding of business processes within cybersecurity contexts
• In-depth knowledge of networking and cybersecurity architectures and principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Solid project management expertise
• Team-oriented, highly motivated, adaptable, and proactive working style
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Fluency in both German and English at C1 level or higher
