Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential media organization seeking a Head of Finance to take ownership of financial operations in London. In this role, you will:
- Prepare annual budgets for effective financial planning
- Provide weekly updates on cash flow
- Conduct monthly P&L and cash updates for comprehensive financial insights
- Evaluate and implement cost optimization programs
- Review intercompany and external loans to ensure optimal financial health
- Lead working capital management responsibilities
- Manage human resources financial planning responsibilities
- Offer support to sales and operations teams
- Work closely with senior leadership on budgets and investor reporting
- Participate in board meetings and present financial performance
What We're Looking For
Our client needs a finance professional with:
- Accounting background with ideally more than two years of experience from a Big Four firm
- Previous experience as CFO, Head of Finance, or Finance Director from a small or medium-sized business
- UK work authorization
- Strong ownership mentality and proactive approach to problem-solving
- High sense of urgency and exceptional work ethic
- Media and conferences industry background preferred but not mandatory
