About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential renewable energy client seeking a Senior Consultant to join their Energy Markets & Economics team in Berlin. Our talent team is managing this search on behalf of an organization at the forefront of solar, battery storage, and hybrid energy solutions across European markets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market analyses, economic assessments, and expert reports for solar PV, battery energy storage systems, and hybrid renewable projects
• Analyze electricity markets, market mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks within the European energy sector
• Evaluate business models, route-to-market strategies, and flexibility solutions for energy storage
• Conduct cash flow modeling, sensitivity analyses, and scenario planning to support investment decisions
• Present results and strategic recommendations to clients, investors, and project partners
• Develop and enhance consulting products and create new service offerings in energy markets and economics
• Collaborate in an international environment with sales and business development teams

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Energy Economics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in the energy sector, market analysis, management consulting, or project development
• In-depth knowledge of European electricity markets, energy market dynamics, and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience developing financial models, economic assessments, and data-driven decision-making frameworks
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex topics and communicate effectively to diverse audiences
• High level of initiative, accountability, customer orientation, and entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
