We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Bilingual IT Business Analyst for a 100% remote position based in Canada. Our client is a multidisciplinary team specializing in pension plans and employee benefits, where your expertise will contribute to designing high-value technology solutions that improve outcomes for consumers, healthcare professionals, and employers.

This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while collaborating with strategic internal partners on active projects requiring rapid deployment. You'll translate business requirements into detailed specifications, design intuitive software solutions, and work closely with development teams throughout the entire development cycle.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into detailed specifications and participate in high-level design and estimation processes
• Design software solutions aligned with solution architecture and technical roadmap
• Work closely with development teams to define functional specifications and required system changes, including non-functional requirements
• Provide technical support and leadership during incidents or service interruptions to ensure effective resolution
• Design intuitive, user-focused solutions that add measurable value
• Break down development elements into small increments that deliver user benefits
• Collaborate with Software Product Owners, UX designers, and key partners in a matrix structure
• Produce documentation for the user community, including release notes and guides
• Support delivery teams (development and QA) to ensure quality deliverables and complete understanding of design requirements

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, business analysis, administration, actuarial mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis or equivalent experience managing complex systems
• Bilingual in French and English, both oral and written
• Experience collaborating with UI/UX design teams and understanding principles of ergonomic and accessible web application design
• Excellent synthesis skills with ability to understand, systematize, and simplify technical concepts
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand common IT technologies
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Ability to explain complex concepts simply and adapt messaging to different audiences
• Comfort working in complex organizational structures and influencing without direct authority
• Autonomy, resourcefulness, and rapid learning capability essential for transitioning quickly to active projects

Assets:

• Experience in a SAFe environment or large-scale Agile methodology
• Experience with digital transformations or modernization initiatives
• Knowledge of best practices in product or program management
