About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential market intelligence organization seeking an Infrastructure Market Expert based in London. This is a flexible consulting engagement, not a full-time role, requiring approximately 2-4 paid hours per month.

Our client builds expert panels to understand and predict developments across global infrastructure sectors. They need an experienced professional currently active in the UK market who can provide practical intelligence on transport, energy, water, telecommunications, and public infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in short monthly research calls to share market intelligence
• Review market data and identify gaps or inaccuracies in datasets
• Explain significant changes and trends in the local infrastructure market
• Assess the likelihood and timing of projects, investments, and demand shifts
• Provide intelligence on companies, investors, customers, and public sector entities
• Review forecasting models and highlight local signals that impact predictions

What We're Looking For

Required experience:

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure markets
• Currently active or closely involved in the UK infrastructure sector
• Strong, up-to-date knowledge of local market conditions and dynamics
• Direct experience with commercial, investment, operational, or strategic decision-making
• Valid LinkedIn profile demonstrating relevant professional background

Relevant expertise areas include:

• Transport and mobility infrastructure
• Power generation, grids, and energy systems
• Water, waste, and environmental services
