Project Manager (Software Development)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential software development organization seeking a Project Manager who will lead end-to-end delivery of client software projects. You will manage projects from discovery through delivery, defining goals, scope, timelines, and priorities while maintaining project plans, roadmaps, budgets, and schedules. You'll monitor progress, identify risks and blockers proactively, and ensure transparency through regular client communication and reporting.

You will coordinate activities between clients, developers, designers, and stakeholders, facilitating decision-making to keep projects moving forward. This role includes helping clients refine ideas and align development efforts with business goals, supporting backlog prioritization and scope management, and driving iterative delivery with regular releases. You'll identify opportunities to improve outcomes while maintaining lean approaches to scope and budget.

As an agile leader, you will apply agile principles pragmatically based on client, project, and team needs, facilitate relevant ceremonies when they add value, and promote continuous improvement while removing delivery bottlenecks. You'll also participate in presales and discovery discussions alongside senior developers, helping gather requirements, understand business challenges, contribute to estimations and solution planning, and identify risks and dependencies before project kickoff.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing software development projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working directly with clients
• Solid understanding of agile principles and delivery methodologies
• Experience with Jira, Slack, and similar collaboration tools
• Understanding of modern software development processes and technology stacks
• Ability to balance business goals, timelines, budgets, and technical constraints
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have: Experience with startups and scale-ups, Product Owner or Product Management experience, Scrum Master experience, experience with marketplaces, SaaS products, AI solutions, or custom software projects, experience participating in project discovery and presales activities, technical background or previous hands-on software development experience.
