Early Childhood Teacher (PT)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential EdTech organization that delivers online K-12 enrichment programs. We are seeking a part-time Early Childhood Math Teacher to work remotely with preschool and kindergarten students. This role offers approximately 20-30 hours per week on a W-2 basis, with training beginning immediately and classes launching in the summer semester.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging online math classes for PreK and Kindergarten students on a weekly basis (10-20 classes per week)
• Participate in paid teaching assistant work, observing experienced lead teachers to refine instructional methods
• Conduct trial lessons with prospective students to assess appropriate class placement (5-10 hours/week)
• Grade homework assignments and provide weekly progress updates to parents, highlighting areas for improvement (3-5 hours/week)
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the teaching management team
• Work Thursday through Sunday, primarily between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in any field; Education or STEM majors preferred
• Prior math teaching experience is a plus but not required
• High-energy, enthusiastic personality with natural ability to engage and excite young children
• Availability and willingness to work Thursday through Sunday on a consistent basis
• Genuine passion for teaching and working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with parents
• Reliable home technology setup including stable computer and internet connection
• Timely, responsive communication style

Pay

Our client offers competitive hourly rates: $35/hour for teaching time and $16-$22/hour for administrative work including lesson preparation, grading, and parent communication. This is a part-time W-2 position with flexible remote work arrangements. High-performing teachers may be promoted to management roles with additional responsibilities and enhanced compensation.
