IT-Systemadministrator (m/w/d) – Windows Server

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology client in Frankfurt am Main who needs an experienced Windows Server Administrator to join their infrastructure team. In this role, you will:

• Maintain and develop the internal server landscape based on Windows Server 2022 and Hyper-V
• Design and architect Active Directory structures, Hyper-V environments, group policies, and file/print servers
• Take ownership of IT security, including Windows hardening, patch management, and access control frameworks
• Assume technical responsibility for IT project implementation, working closely with the IT team and project management
• Document your work in Jira and Confluence and communicate effectively with stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Proven practical experience designing, building, and administering Windows Server environments
• Hands-on experience with hybrid scenarios (Azure/Entra ID) and solid knowledge of IT infrastructure (networking, backup)
• Completed IT training as a specialist in system integration, IT systems electronics, or comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
• Structured, goal-oriented working style with the ability to maintain overview of complex tasks
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and German language proficiency at C1 level

Preferred experience:

• Administration of telecommunications solutions or unified communications systems
• Solid knowledge in switching, routing, firewalls, and VLANs
• Experience with backup and recovery systems
