Senior PR Manager (m/w/d) – Remote oder Berlin

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential communications agency seeking a Senior PR Manager to join their team in Berlin or remotely within Germany.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute tailored PR strategies for B2B and B2C clients, focusing on strategic media placements in relevant outlets across the DACH region
• Serve as a strategic advisor to clients at C-level, planning campaigns with quarterly roadmaps and clear KPIs while proactively identifying communication opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists at leading German and European media outlets
• Monitor news cycles actively to identify story angles and media opportunities before they become obvious
• Leverage AI tools for research, pitch preparation, and topic discovery to maximize time for creative strategy and relationship building
• Collaborate with team members across experience levels, sharing knowledge and providing peer feedback
• Focus on individualized, editorial-quality PR rather than mass distribution approaches

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of hands-on PR experience, ideally in an agency environment, with a proven track record of securing placements in German leading and trade publications
• Strong consultative skills: ability to analyze target audiences and markets, translate business objectives into PR strategies, and define measurable actions
• Established network of journalist contacts and demonstrated ability to build trust-based media relationships
• German language proficiency at C2 level and professional English communication skills
• Based in Germany with authorization to work in the country
• Self-directed work style with a collaborative mindset and willingness to share expertise openly
• Pragmatic approach to AI tools, using technology to accelerate processes while preserving focus on substance and creativity
• Ability to spot story potential early and think strategically about media opportunities
