Associate – Mechanical

Join WSP in Noida, Ghaziabad as an Associate - Mechanical and contribute to complex engineering projects within our Global Capability Centre. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop your mechanical engineering expertise whilst supporting the delivery of projects across multiple scales and complexities.

About the Role

As an Associate - Mechanical at WSP's India GCC, you will play a key role in coordinating mechanical engineering efforts across projects managed by our Energy, Resources, and Infrastructure (ERI) teams. You will work alongside experienced mechanical and project engineers, gaining exposure to small to large-scale engineering initiatives whilst contributing meaningfully to technical discussions and project outcomes. This is a position where you will be involved in technical decision-making on complex mechanical aspects of our consulting projects, working within a supportive environment that values your professional growth and contributions to the team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical engineering activities across WSP projects in the Noida and Ghaziabad region
• Contribute to technical evaluations and recommendations on complex mechanical engineering challenges
• Support project engineers and senior team members in delivering mechanical design and analysis work
• Participate in important technical discussions and decision-making processes on mechanical aspects of projects
• Assist in the development and mentoring of junior mechanical engineers within the GCC team
• Document and track project progress, ensuring alignment with technical and schedule requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail
• Willingness to support both individual contributors and junior team members in their professional development
