Responsibilities

We are representing a specialized consulting firm in the Business Intelligence and financial planning sector. As Senior Consultant, you will:

• Advise and support clients on Business Intelligence, enterprise planning, and consolidation initiatives
• Analyze functional requirements in collaboration with Finance, Controlling, and corporate accounting teams
• Develop concepts and solution architectures based on IBM Planning Analytics TM1
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system concepts
• Model and implement OLAP solutions, reports, dashboards, and planning systems
• Develop and optimize data integrations from ERP, financial, and upstream systems
• Guide client projects from conception through implementation and go-live
• Conduct workshops, user training sessions, and client presentations
• Provide ongoing support and enhancement of existing client solutions
• Support presales activities, solution concepts, and client presentations

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling, or comparable fields
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in Business Intelligence, financial planning, and consolidation
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and controlling processes
• Practical experience analyzing and optimizing Finance and Controlling processes
• Strong communication skills and professional presence when engaging with clients and stakeholders
• Analytical and structured work approach with high degree of independence
• Interest in data-driven solutions and understanding of BI and planning systems
• Fluent German language skills for optimal client consultation and team communication
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and workshops (approximately once monthly)
• Nice to have: Experience with IBM Planning Analytics TM1
