Senior Consultant (m/w/d) BI & Konsolidierung

Responsibilities

We are representing a specialized consultancy in the business intelligence and financial consolidation space. As Senior Consultant, you will:

• Advise and support clients on business intelligence, enterprise planning, and group consolidation initiatives
• Analyze functional requirements in collaboration with finance, controlling, and group accounting teams
• Develop concepts and solution architectures based on IBM Planning Analytics TM1
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system concepts
• Model and implement OLAP solutions, reports, dashboards, and planning systems
• Develop and optimize data integrations from ERP, financial, and upstream systems
• Guide client projects from conception through go-live
• Conduct workshops, user training sessions, and client presentations
• Provide long-term support and continuous development of existing client solutions
• Support presales activities, solution concepts, and client presentations

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling, or comparable field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business intelligence, financial planning, and group consolidation
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and controlling processes
• Practical experience analyzing and optimizing finance and controlling processes
• Strong communication skills and confident presence when engaging with clients and functional departments
• Analytical and structured working style with high degree of personal responsibility
• Interest in data-driven solutions and understanding of BI and planning systems
• Fluent German language skills for optimal client consulting and team communication
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client appointments and workshops (approximately once monthly)
• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics TM1 is a strong plus
