Maintenance Supervisor (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization operating a highly automated fulfilment center in the Falkensee area. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will take operational responsibility for maintenance during your shift and lead a team of Maintenance Technicians working with advanced automated intralogistics systems.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop your team: Supervise Maintenance Technicians during your shift, provide hands-on coaching, and support their professional development.
• Own the shift: Set priorities, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure high-quality work and optimal equipment availability.
• Manage critical breakdowns: Coordinate your team during technical issues and work closely with Operations to minimize downtime and restore systems quickly.
• Drive safety and structure: Ensure safety standards are followed and that maintenance work is carried out in a clean, organized environment.
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and implement Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives with your team.
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Operations, Maintenance Engineers, and external maintenance partners to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We're Looking For

• Completed technical qualification with further training as a Technician or Master Craftsman, or a technical degree (Bachelor/Master) in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in a technical or maintenance environment, ideally within automated logistics or production settings
• At least 3 years of leadership experience as a Team Lead, Lead Technician, Supervisor, or comparable role
• Hands-on mindset with strong understanding of both technical and operational aspects of maintenance
• Experience with Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement methodologies with demonstrated ability to apply these principles on the shop floor
• Structured working style with strong ownership mentality and ability to remain calm and focused during critical breakdowns
• Fluent in English (German is a strong plus)

Pay

This position offers a competitive compensation package. The client has indicated a starting salary of approximately €70,000 gross per year with annual performance reviews designed to support your personal and financial development.
