Maintenance Supervisor (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential automated logistics organization operating in the Berlin/Brandenburg area. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will take operational responsibility for maintenance during your shift and lead a team of Maintenance Technicians working with highly automated intralogistics systems.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop your team: Direct Maintenance Technicians during your shift, provide on-the-job coaching, and support their professional development.
• Own the shift: Set priorities, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure high-quality work and equipment availability.
• Manage critical breakdowns: Coordinate your team during technical issues and work closely with Operations to minimize downtime.
• Drive safety and structure: Ensure safety standards are followed and that maintenance work is carried out in a clean, structured environment.
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and implement Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives with your team.
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Operations, Maintenance Engineers, and external maintenance partners to keep operations running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

• Completed technical qualification with further training as a Technician or Master Craftsman, or completed technical degree (Bachelor/Master) in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in a technical or maintenance environment, ideally within automated logistics or production environments
• At least 3 years of leadership experience as a Team Lead, Lead Technician, Supervisor, or comparable role
• Hands-on mindset with understanding of both technical and operational sides of maintenance
• Experience with Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement principles and their application on the shop floor
• Structured work approach, ownership mentality, and ability to stay calm and focused during critical breakdowns
• Fluent in English (German is a strong plus)
