Maintenance Supervisor (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential logistics organization operating a highly automated fulfillment center in the Berlin/Brandenburg area (Falkensee). Our talent team is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead operational maintenance responsibilities during shift operations and manage a team of maintenance technicians.

In this role, you will work with advanced automated intralogistics systems, set priorities for your team, ensure safe and structured work practices, and serve as the critical interface between maintenance and operations. During critical incidents, you will take charge and ensure systems are restored quickly to support daily order fulfillment.

Your leadership competence, technical understanding, and hands-on mentality will be essential to maintaining high equipment availability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop maintenance technicians during your shift through coaching and performance support
• Coordinate maintenance activities, set priorities, and ensure high quality and equipment availability
• Manage critical technical incidents by coordinating your team and collaborating with operations to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain clean, structured work practices
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 5S, and other optimization methodologies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance engineers, and external maintenance partners
• Oversee shift operations in a highly automated fulfillment environment

What We're Looking For

• Completed technical apprenticeship with advancement to Techniker or Meister, or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field
• 10+ years of experience in technical or maintenance environments, ideally in automated logistics or manufacturing settings
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience as Team Lead, Lead Technician, Supervisor, or comparable role
• Hands-on mentality with understanding of both technical and operational aspects of maintenance
• Experience implementing Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement principles in practical settings
• Structured work approach with ability to maintain oversight during critical incidents
• Fluent English required (German language skills are a strong plus)
• Willingness to work in shift system (40-hour week)
