Teamleiter Last Mile Logistik/ Quereinsteiger (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential last-mile logistics organization seeking a Team Leader for their distribution hub in Frankfurt an der Oder, Brandenburg. This role manages the final stage of the supply chain before deliveries reach customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Team Leadership: Recruit, coach, and develop your team while organizing events to strengthen team cohesion
• Leadership Development: Manage shift schedules, onboard new drivers, and ensure smooth daily operations at the hub
• Delivery Management: Take ownership when delivery vehicles arrive with goods, verify shipments, and organize expedited deliveries when needed
• Process Management: Monitor operational KPIs continuously, maintain safety-first protocols, and ensure efficient workflows
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with customer success teams, central warehousing, and other distribution centers to ensure customer satisfaction
• On-time Departures: Ensure drivers depart punctually to meet promised delivery windows
• Operational Innovation: Contribute ideas on vehicle maintenance coordination, hub layout optimization, driver recruitment, and logistics process improvements

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or vocational training in logistics, or demonstrated success as a career changer from hospitality, retail, or customer service
• Initial team leadership experience, either professionally or through coaching other teams
• Fluent German and basic English language skills
• Valid Class B driving license
• Strong communication skills and confident presence
• Data-driven decision-making approach using facts and figures
