About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential B2B software organization with international operations and a growing presence in Hamburg. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to lead integrated demand generation programs, develop compelling campaigns across digital and offline channels, and drive qualified lead generation in support of ambitious revenue goals.

In this role, you will own end-to-end marketing campaigns, collaborate closely with Sales and Product Management, and translate complex technical solutions into clear marketing messages. You will manage account-based marketing initiatives, coordinate external agencies, and continuously optimize marketing performance through data-driven insights. This position requires residency in Germany, fluency in both German and English, and willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, conferences, and customer events.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and measure integrated B2B marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels to generate qualified leads and strengthen brand awareness
• Develop and execute account-based marketing programs targeting specific industries, customer segments, and strategic accounts
• Independently manage marketing projects from conception through execution, including timelines, approvals, stakeholder coordination, and follow-up
• Create and coordinate website content, articles, newsletters, case studies, presentations, campaign materials, and sales enablement content
• Translate complex software products and technical topics into compelling, accessible marketing messages for diverse audiences
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Development on lead generation strategies, target account activities, and customer acquisition initiatives
• Partner with Product Management and service teams to incorporate product developments, customer use cases, and market requirements into marketing strategies
• Plan and coordinate trade fairs, conferences, webinars, customer events, and related communications
• Manage external agencies and service providers, including briefing, quality assurance, and timeline management
• Monitor marketing performance, prepare KPI-based reports, and deliver actionable improvement recommendations
• Lead lead management, lead nurturing, and marketing automation processes
• Conduct market, competitor, and target audience research to inform strategic decisions

What We're Looking For

• At least five years of professional experience in B2B marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, campaign management, or product marketing—this is not an entry-level position
• Proven track record of independently planning, implementing, and evaluating integrated marketing campaigns that drive business results
• Strong understanding of account-based marketing structures and program execution
• Demonstrated experience supporting lead generation, customer acquisition, and business growth through marketing activities
• Excellent content development and copywriting skills, with ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and persuasively
• Experience marketing software products, IT solutions, or consulting services, ideally in an international B2B environment
• Industry experience in Energy, Chemicals, logistics, or industrial software is advantageous
• Deep understanding of websites, email marketing, social media, online campaigns, and marketing automation platforms
• Experience developing customer-focused content, campaign materials, and sales enablement resources
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and Business Development teams on growth initiatives
• Strong capability to translate business priorities, market requirements, and customer needs into effective marketing strategies
• Experience with marketing analytics, campaign performance measurement, and KPI-based reporting
• Proficiency working with CRM systems, content management platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics systems
• Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Structured, reliable, results-oriented approach with high ownership and attention to detail
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Residency in Germany required
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes
• Relevant degree or comparable qualification

Pay

The salary range for this position is €70,000 to €90,000 gross per year on a full-time basis, determined by relevant professional experience, qualifications, and competencies. The position may include a variable compensation component based on clearly defined individual and company-related objectives, which will be discussed transparently during the recruitment process.
