Product Owner / App Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential telecommunications organization seeking a Product Owner / App Manager to join their team in Reken, Germany. Our client is focused on digital transformation and mobile technology solutions, and they need someone who can bridge the gap between operational teams and technical development.

In this role, you'll take ownership of app development initiatives, working closely with mobile operations teams across Germany and coordinating with an international development team. You'll be responsible for translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications and driving continuous improvement of digital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and prioritize operational requirements from stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with mobile operations teams in the field
• Translate business specifications into structured technical briefs for the development team
• Drive conceptual development of mobile applications with a strong focus on usability
• Optimize existing processes and redesign workflows for digital efficiency
• Travel within Germany approximately one week per month to work with on-site teams

What We're Looking For

• Initial experience as a Product Owner, in product management, or a comparable role (preferred)
• Digital native with strong understanding of digital processes and tools
• Excellent organizational abilities with a structured and independent working style
• Strong communication skills and ability to mediate between operational teams and developers
• High degree of personal responsibility and self-organization
• Willingness to travel within Germany (approximately one week per month)
• Programming knowledge is a plus
• Fluency in German required for this role
